Beautiful Dorset wedding photography covering Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch, The New Forest and Southampton.
The plan for the big day was a garden wedding at Carina’s parents house located idyllically in the New Forest. When Carina got in to her beautiful wedding gown from Exquisite Bridal she looked breathtaking, there were definitely a few tears in her dear Dads eyes.
The lovely Diana Saxby from Grace the Day made the ceremony delightfully personal. I love how all aspects of a wedding day can be tailored to make it so personal to you, a perfect fit. With Carina a teacher and Lucas a medic they had a light hearted school theme to their wedding. After the ceremony the amazing stationary, wonderfully designed by Kate Kelly Designs played a key part in the days fun proceedings. The orders of service being transformed into paper airplanes, old school style!
The garden was filled with vibrant purple flowers and in a creative slant on Lucas’s job the marquee was laden with test tubes filled with flowers, all from Arcade Flowers. The fabulous (and delicious) cup cakes and cake pops were made by Cupcakes by Louise.
One of the many highlights of the day was the surprise singing waiters, they humorously serenaded from table to table much to the delight of the happy couple. Suzanne from RSVP Wedding was in charge of ensuring everything ran smoothly, she was a joy to work with. Vanilla Catering produced some amazing canapés and deserts, all beautifully presented on pretty heart shaped wooden boards.
As the night fell, Jukebox had all the guests going crazy on the dance floor.
A big thank you to Clare West for making her way though New Forest ponies, donkeys and the odd cow to come and shoot this wedding with me on a hot bank holiday weekend. It was such a pleasure working with you.
Carina and Lucas, thank you for having us along to join in your celebrations. It was a pleasure to be there and share in your happiness. xxx
