Gabby & James Beach Weddings Bournemouth & The Green House Hotel

Soo excited to be finally blogging Gabby & James’ Beach Wedding Bournemouth!

My couples are just the best! I really am so lucky to share a small part in some amazing days. Each wedding I have shot is always completely unique and because it’s the people who make that day special. Not only are Gabby and James absolute sweethearts, but this wedding was one I could relive forever. Most of our communications prior to their wedding were on email, their lovely chatty responses meant on the day we were like old friends and no surprise, we had a blast! Their nearest and dearest radiated this same warmth throughout the day making it full of fun and a lot of love.

Gabby had many family holidays in Bournemouth as a child, the beach held so many dear memories it made perfect sense it was where they would start their married life together. Their wedding was inspired by The Great Gatsby Gabby’s vintage dress had wonderful geometric lines, this matched with her amazingly sparkly art deco earrings and simple but super Makeup by Tara were definitely worthy of Daisy Buchanan’s wardrobe! The pretty bridesmaids dresses wore a soft blue green which tied in with the boys suits and beach palette beautifully. The seaside adventures/travel theme was echoed through the room set up with truly wonderful creative ideas from Costal Creatives.

The windiness of the day added to the fun as the guests enjoyed having a go at playing on the steel pan band before settling down to their delicious afternoon tea supplied by Fish Face! After finishing off with ice cream, the celebrations continued to via Bournemouth best noddy train to The Green House Hotel.  where everyone hit the dance floor with music from Oomph an amazing Brighton based funk band.

Definitely the windiest beach wedding I have yet to shoot, let yourselves get swept away by the romance for a few moments with a few of my favourite pictures from their day. Wishing you all much love and happiness! xxx
