Katie & Hugh had a fun relaxed and DIY wedding wedding at Branksome Dene in Dorset.
They got married at Bournemouth Town Hall then headed to the beach via red bus. The wedding reception was decorated with herbs, hessian and the most amazing wine stopper cork board as their seating plan made by Katie’s very talented bridesmaid Rosie! The room was dressed with bunting, swimsuits, spades and hats all in the Great British Seaside Theme. All the window had beautiful sea views, making it a heady mix with the fabulous cocktails their guests enjoyed from Tom’s Bespoke Bartending Co. Trust me these taste as good as they look, Katie had Tom whisk me a special non alcohol one up and boy was it good!
A wonderful afternoon at the beach topped off with the groomsmen family tweed and waistcoat being whipped off with a mad dash into the sea, donned viking hats! Swimsuits and towels readily supplied by the happy couple so no excuses!
Home made cupcakes, home grown sunflowers, heaps of laughs and fabulous announcement of a new family addition. It was needless to say, with such an enthusiastic and friendly crowd it was a lovely day at Bournemouth seaside. Here are some photos from their day…
