If there was one wedding I had been waiting for impatiently for absolutely ages, it had to be Melanie & Jonny’s Hampshire wedding! I am a huge fan of these venues I think the photographs speak for themselves as to why! Big thanks to Rob Dunning who was my amazing second photographer for the day!
Melanie got ready at her sister’s house surrounded by her lovely family. Makeup artist Marie did a wonderful job making sure that everyone looked pretty as can be. Melanie’s beautiful David Fielden dress from Exquisite Brides, Lymmington created such a lovely nostalgic look and it is safe to say she looked utterly stunning.
The ceremony took place at The Hospital of St Cross, Winchester. The reception was held in a beautiful marquee at Sir Harold Hillier Gardens, Romsey. With gardens which boasted to win Chelsea Gold medal awards, was absolutely one of the most amazing places I’ve ever had the pleasure of attending a wedding at!
It made perfect sense that their wedding was inspired by gardening with the best seating plan I have seen at a wedding made from old lawn mowers and retro gardening memorabilia collected by Jonny!
I think that’s more than enough for the introduction, let’s get to the pictures and relive this incredible party. Enjoy!
